Hello new friend, and welcome! I'm Mandee Rohn!  I'm a dedicated Christian, Wife, Mother of two pretty little girls,  Women's Ministry Leader, and World Traveler.  Additionally, I'm a self-taught and self-proclaimed Artist.  

Currently, I'm living and creating from my happy home in sunny southern California. However, we tend to move a lot, and so you may find my family and me in a city near you someday! I was born and raised in the stunningly beautiful state of Oregon, and since leaving there in 2009, I have lived in Long Beach California, Riverside California, London England, Boston Massachusetts, and Orange County California. 

Where should we go next?! 

As happily married parents my husband and I are always looking for ways to better our home and encourage healthy and creative playtimes for our children. 

Personally, I can feel guilty at times for the amount of time my children are focused on screens. Can you relate!?! I mean come on... there are cell phones, tablets, television ... ect.  The darn things are everywhere! And the screen time only seems to be increasing as my oldest daughter is now using technology more and more while in school. 

I have nothing against technology. I'm on my beloved apple mac now writing this. However, the truth is I want much much more good old-fashioned unplugged play at home!  I have a feeling you do too! 

With that said I began painting with my children in 2014 and we haven't stopped. My girls and I would paint the day away if we could. We are messy, colorful, and creative!  The paint stains on our dining room table and coffee tables may look sloppy to some, but they're a reminder that I've spent solid memory making moments with those I love most. 

Some of these memory making frolics have resulted in "Mandee's Madness."  A dream to turn the wholesome quality time I spend with my husband and children into something that would add color and inspiration to your home, and to your kiddos toy-boxes. 

I genuinely hope you enjoy what you find here, and that these handmade gifts, toys, and decor will liven up your home and encourage you to go and buy some paints yourself!
